THEVEN SABGA, PHYSIOTHERAPIST AND CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Theven Sabga is the founder and clinical director of the Sabga Physiotherapy & Chiropractic Centre. She has been a practicing physiotherapist for 21 years.
Theven graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Physiotherapy from the University of Durban-Westville, Durban, South Africa in 1991. She has varied practice experiences having worked in Cape Town (South Africa), Winnipeg, Toronto and now currently in Windsor.
Theven attained her Fellowship with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) in 2005.Physiotherapists who are Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) have completed extensive post-graduate education in the area of orthopedics and have achieved internationally-recognized qualifications in hands-on manual and manipulative therapy.
FCAMPT physiotherapists knowledge and skills enable them to treat complex pathology and movement disorders of both the spine and extremities, which can cause both acute and chronic pain and disability.
Theven is committed to providing the highest level of quality, patient-centered care combining clinical experience with evidence-based practice.
In addition, Theven has completed her training in acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI).
She is actively involved in teaching. She is involved in classroom education with medical students and in a clinical supervisor role in the clinic with both nurse practitioner and physiotherapy students.
